Frequently Asked Questions What is Kinetik? Kinetik is a creative AI agent for content creators. It handles everything around your content — research, analytics, strategy, operations, brand communications — so you can focus on what you do best: creating. Is Kinetik a chatbot? No. Kinetik is an agent, not a chatbot. The difference: a chatbot answers questions. An agent gets things done — generates files, monitors trends, sends proactive alerts, remembers your context, and takes action on your behalf (with your approval). Where does Kinetik live? Kinetik works in WhatsApp and Telegram. You can switch between platforms — Kinetik sees one continuous conversation and never loses context. Does Kinetik post to my Instagram? Kinetik connects to your Instagram with read-only access. It can analyze your profile, posts, and engagement, but it cannot post, edit, or delete anything on your behalf. Does Kinetik see my DMs or other chats? No. In WhatsApp and Telegram, Kinetik only sees the conversation between you and the agent — just like any other contact. No access to your other chats, contacts, or message history. What data does Kinetik collect from my Instagram? Profile info, posts, captions, engagement metrics (likes, comments, reach, saves), and audience demographics — all via the official Instagram API. Read-only, no modifications. Think of Kinetik as a personal assistant with research skills, management skills, and a good memory. Does Kinetik remember previous conversations? Yes. Kinetik maintains memory across sessions — your niche, audience, goals, preferences, and conversation history. You never have to explain yourself twice. The longer you use it, the sharper it gets. What languages does Kinetik support? Kinetik is multilingual, it works fluently in English, Spanish, German, Spanish, French, Serbian, and many other languages. It detects your language automatically and can switch mid-conversation. Can Kinetik create files and documents? Yes — PDFs, Excel spreadsheets, images, comparison tables, media kits, and more. Files are delivered directly in chat, ready to download and share. Is my data safe? Yes. Your conversations are private and isolated. Kinetik never shares information from your session with other users. Instagram access is read-only and goes through the official API. Do you store my Instagram login and password? No. Kinetik never asks for, receives, or stores your Instagram username or password. We use the official Instagram Graph API with OAuth — the same secure method used by apps like Later, Hootsuite, and Buffer. Here’s how it works: when you connect Instagram, you’re redirected to Meta’s official login page where you authorize read-only access. Meta gives us a temporary access token — not your credentials. This token lets us read your profile, posts, and engagement metrics. That’s it. What we can do: view your profile, posts, captions, likes, comments, reach, and audience demographics. What we cannot do: post, edit, delete, send DMs, see your password, or access anything beyond what you explicitly authorized. We fully comply with Meta’s Platform Terms and Instagram API policies. Your credentials stay with Meta — we never see them. Can Kinetik analyze my videos? Yes. Send a video (or a link to it) and Kinetik will analyze editing quality, pacing, color grading, composition, and narrative structure — with specific, actionable feedback. Can Kinetik help me find music for my Reels? Yes. Describe the mood or send the video, and Kinetik will suggest specific tracks that match your content style — including royalty-free options. What happens if I connect both WhatsApp and Telegram? Kinetik sees one unified conversation across both messengers. You can start a conversation in WhatsApp and continue in Telegram seamlessly. Note: each messenger shows only its own message history on your side, but Kinetik remembers everything from both. How do I get started? Go to kineto.app/kinetik, log in with your email, connect your Instagram, and start chatting with Kinetik on the web or via your preferred messenger. Frequently Asked Questions About Payments Is there a free way to try Kinetik? Yep. The moment you sign up, we drop 350 AI credits into your wallet — no card, no subscription, no catch. They’re yours to use however you like: brainstorm with the agent, research trends, draft your first post, go wild. What is an AI credit? Think of credits as Kinetik’s energy bar. Every time you ask it to do something — research your niche, draft a caption, generate an image, pull together a content plan — it rolls up its sleeves and gets to work. The heavier the lift, the more credits it takes. A rough feel:
• Light: quick Q&A, a caption rewrite, a hashtag suggestion, a reminder — single-digit credits
• Medium: a news digest, drafting a post with research, image generation — a couple dozen credits
• Heavy: deep competitor analysis, video generation, a full content plan with trend research — several dozen credits or more
The message counts you see on each plan are there to give you a sense of scale — but plans are measured in credits, not messages. After every request, the actual credits used are deducted from your balance. No mystery — your wallet shows exactly where every credit went. There are 2 types of credits — the included-in-tariff credits, which expire after 2 months, and top-up credits which remain valid for 12 months. What happens when I run out of credits? Everything you’ve already created stays exactly where it is — generated apps keep working, documents sent through your integrations are safe, and your full chat history isn’t going anywhere. But new generations and any scheduled tasks will pause until you upgrade the tariff, top up credits, or your next monthly refill kicks in. Do unused credits carry over? They do. Anything you don’t spend by the end of your billing period rolls over and stays usable for one extra month — so a quiet week won’t burn your balance. After that month they expire, just to keep things tidy. Can I use my credits if the subscription is over? Yes, you can use remaining credits for a month after the subscription was cancelled. Can I change my plan? What happens to my credits? Change plans whenever you want. Upgrades apply immediately — your new credits land on top of whatever you have left, nothing disappears. Downgrades kick in on your next billing date: when the current period ends, you’ll be charged the lower amount and receive the credits for your new plan. Any unused credits from the previous period still roll over for one extra month. Can I top up credits without changing my plan? Yes, for paid tariffs there is an option to buy additional credits. Just visit our pricing page and choose the top-up option. How do I cancel my subscription? Just tell Kinetik you’d like to cancel — it’ll send you a link straight to the right screen in your account. You’ll keep your plan and any unused credits until the end of the current billing period. No drama. What’s your refund policy? Reach out to our support team to request a refund — the exact conditions are spelled out in our Terms of Service. Why does the price say “excl. VAT”? Depending on where you’re based, local VAT gets added during checkout in Stripe. If you’re a business in the EU or UK with a valid VAT ID, enter it at checkout and we’ll apply the reverse-charge rule where applicable. Getting Started
